Welcome to Elite Dance Centre! We’re excited to have you join our dance family. Below you'll find important policies, FAQs, and general information to help you get started and stay informed.

A: While we can’t speak for other studios, Elite Dance Centre offers several unique advantages:

• A professional floating Marley floor that reduces fatigue and helps prevent injuries.
• Small class sizes for personalized instruction.
• No mandatory fundraising for dance activities.
• Both competitive and recreational programs, from beginners to advanced dancers.
• Opportunities to travel (e.g., Dance Nationals in NYC) or stay local and focus on technique — your choice!

A: We have an observation area in the lobby with closed-circuit television.
To avoid distractions, we don’t allow parents in the studio during class time. Children tend to look for approval or act out when a parent is visibly present. However, we do invite parents in occasionally for viewing days or special holidays!

A: Due to differences in studio programs, all new students begin in the first level for their age. After evaluation, we may adjust their placement if needed.

A: Costumes and music are chosen by the instructor and studio director and are always age-appropriate.

• All classes are taught with a strong emphasis on proper technique and discipline.
• We value clear communication between parents, students, and instructors.
  Please email for any progress questions or class-related concerns.
• We expect respect and professionalism at all times.
• We are not liable for injuries, lost items, or misconduct. Students may be dismissed for disrupting the studio environment.
• Only dance shoes are allowed on the dance floor. Please enter the studio in street shoes and change inside.

• Students must be fully registered, including billing information, to hold a class spot.
• Once you are registered, you are committed for the season. 
• Tuition is a flat monthly rate, billed:
  • 1st of each month for Beaver Dam
  • 15th of each month for Fond du Lac
• Registration begins in April of the previous season, and tuition runs August 15- April.
• No refunds, credits, or deductions for missed classes or holidays.
• Two snow days are built into tuition. Additional closures will have a makeup class scheduled.
• We do not send paper statements. Please track your balance on the Dance Portal.

All shoes must be fitted to current size — no "growing into" shoes.
Dancewear can be found at the studio or stores like Target for affordable practice gear.

Please help us maintain a calm, safe lobby by:

• Keeping children from running, standing on furniture, or playing in bathrooms.
• Cleaning up food/drinks.
• Teaching respect for others’ space and property.

It’s your responsibility to stay updated on:

• Studio events, recital dates, holidays, closures, etc.
• Info is posted on studio bulletin boards, sent home via notes, and shared via email.
• Please update your contact info if it changes.

• The studio does not provide before/after class care.
• Please avoid leaving students for extended periods.
• Staff may not be able to stay late if rides are delayed.

Parents/legal guardians waive the right to legal action for injuries incurred during normal class activity. If an injury occurs, we’ll notify you and provide immediate care.

By enrolling, you grant permission for Elite Dance Centre to take photos/videos for marketing (website, social media, print, etc.). The studio retains copyright of such materials.

• Our year-end recital is held in April or early May.
• We also perform a holiday show for a local nursing home in December (1 parent may accompany each dancer).
• Families may observe class before performances.
• Makeup and proper costume care are required for all performances.
• Participation in recital requires attendance at mandatory rehearsals.

• Costumes are professionally chosen by the instructor and director.
• Please budget approx. $85 per costume.
• Recital tickets will go on sale in April.

• Available by invitation or for dancers ages 4+.
• Requires a focused class, strong commitment, and team spirit.
• Regular practice outside of class is expected.
